Strengthening Digital Literacy: Tulip Trainings Hosts Digital Media Education Program

London, September 15–19, 2025 – Tulip Management Consultancy Ltd, through Tulip Trainings, successfully organized the international Digital Media Education Training online. The program brought together participants from various countries, particularly from Africa ,Asia and Latin America , with the main goal of equipping them with critical and ethical skills to face the challenges of the digital era.

On this occasion, Rony Robiansyah attended as the representative of IYCW ASPAC (International Young Christian Workers Asia Pacific). His participation was supported by DKA Austria, as part of its commitment to strengthening the capacity of the young workers’ movement in the Asia-Pacific region.


Global Synergy in Digital Education

The training involved experts from CAMECO (Catholic Media Council), academics, and international practitioners. Several representatives from other organizations also participated, creating a space for cross-country and cross-sector dialogue.

The collaboration between Tulip Trainings, CAMECO, DKA Austria, IYCW ASPAC, and other partner organizations demonstrated a shared commitment to advancing digital literacy while reinforcing social solidarity amid the rapid growth of technology.

“This training is not just about technology, but about how people can remain fully present in the digital world without losing their values and humanity,” highlighted one of the trainers during a reflection session.


Relevant Topics for Today’s Reality

Throughout five days, participants engaged in systematically designed sessions, ranging from digital awareness and cybersecurity, digital wellbeing, and cyberpsychology among youth, to fake news identification and fact-checking.

  • Safeguarding in the Digital World – Dr. Angela Rinaldi

Each session was enriched with group discussions, mentoring, and pastoral reflection, reinforcing ethical and spiritual dimensions in the use of digital media.


Input from IYCW ASPAC

As the IYCW ASPAC representative, Rony Robiansyah emphasized the importance of digital literacy for today’s youth and young workers in the Asia-Pacific region.

“Young people and young workers today live under heavy socio-economic pressures, while the digital world presents both new challenges and opportunities. Digital literacy is not only about technical skills but also about how we can survive, raise our voices, and fight for social justice in digital spaces,” said Rony.

The event concluded with participants’ action plan presentations and a final reflection, marking the birth of a renewed commitment to building a more ethical, inclusive, and empowering digital culture worldwide.
