Hello everyone ...
Introduce my name Idayanti, 29 years old, I have 1 daughter and I work at PT. NOVATEX. I working at PT. Novatexhas been for more than 3 yearsand my work status is as a contract worker, I work in the WJL machine operator section.
Before i have problems regarding wages, maternity leave and BPJS.The wages I receive are different From those of regular workers.
I was given a global wage of Rp. 3,200,000/month and that includes overtime pay, allowances
and only given 2 days off a month , Then when I was on maternity leave,Company only gave me leave wages,
as much as 2 months of wages And only 3 months of leave.
I am also not registered at BPJS for employment and BPJS for health ,
Then 1 years ago, I joined the SPSM Trade Union which was fostered by PPMP Indonesia,
Thank God,
since then I have gained understanding and education about wages, BPJS, and other normative rights.
which is actually all the rights must i get as a worker.
and in August 2022 SPSM trade union accompanied by PPMP filed a lawsuit and negotiated with the company. to demand that one of the wages of contract workers must be in accordance with the UMK,overtime wages are paid and given 4 days off in a month,
and demand that all workers at PT. Novatex to registered in the BPJS Employment and Health BPJS programs,
as well as for female workers who are on maternity and childbirth leave to be given 3 months of leave and also be given 3 months of wages.
Thank God , all these demands were met by the company, even though for BPJS the company will carry it out in stages.
I am very sure that right now, joining workers as members of the trade union will accelerate the struggle of workers in demanding the rights of workers. especially the rights that must be obtained by workers
And don't forget, all members must also understand normative rights and social protection by participating in every organizational activity such as discussion, education, training, and actions.
Greetings struggle
