Carrying the Spirit of Solidarity: My Journey at the YCW 100 Years Celebration

$rows[judul]

I Hamdani, feel deeply grateful and delighted to have attended the YCW Centenary celebration. It was such a valuable experience, as it was my very first time traveling abroad and having the opportunity to meet young activists from different countries.

Previously, I had participated in the Regional Key Leader Meeting (RKLM) 2024 in Indonesia, which was my first activity at the international level. However, the YCW Centenary celebration was a far more profound experience, as it was there that I truly felt the presence and unity of the movement from all around the world.

One of the most memorable moments was the cultural exchange night. I witnessed artistic performances from different countries and tasted traditional dishes that reflected the richness of world cultures. The atmosphere of brotherhood convinced me even more that our movement is not only local in nature but also part of a broader global struggle.

In addition, the discussion sessions and meetings with activists from different countries broadened my perspective on international solidarity. We exchanged ideas, shared stories about the realities of young workers in our respective countries, and discussed ways to strengthen the movement in the future. I could truly feel how our different backgrounds enriched the shared spirit of struggle.

This event had a tremendous impact on me personally. I am now even more motivated to stay committed and passionate about the movement. Upon returning to Indonesia, I am determined to share all these experiences with our members, with the hope that it will inspire them to remain united and continue developing the organization.

I also hope that the values of struggle and the spirit of our predecessors will always be preserved and passed down from generation to generation. The spirit to uphold justice on this earth must continue to live on as a legacy for every young generation.
