I am the Proletariattestimony from young workers in Thailand

$rows[judul]

I am Note-Punsit Ngamrit, 26 year old. from Phichit (Thailand). My family is poor I have 2 sister When was I kid my parents is construction worker to earn money to feed me and sister. Once I was 18 year old after graduating from high school. I'm going to Bangkok to find a job. My first job is KFC employee at that time I studied and worked at the same time. study monday-friday and work saturday-sunday. which was very hard, so I quit switched to work as a security guard.

I change jobs very often.  because I still haven't found a job that I like. I used to be a food delivery driver. grab, line man, foodpanda. Until when the COVID-19 epidemic I'm unemployed do have to go back Phichit. When was I back to Phichit. I work as a shipping staff of agricultural chemicals company that receiving a salary less than the minimum wage. and after I learned labor right, So I knew that I was exploit from the company.

So I fought to reclaim my rights that were taken away and I won received compensation of 30,000 THB At the beginning of the year I worked at the plasterboard factory it's very hard work here. working a 12 hours a day, 6 days a week and is a subcontractor employee.
When I was worked in this factory I gained a better understanding of the lives of young workers in the factory. And now, I work again in the delivery I feel like it's my favorite job because I'm easily bored and factory work is repetitive.

My dream is I want to see the power of the drivers union to negotiate with the platform and enhance our quality of life. Together we are going to a brand new home . In Solidarity.

My name is Duangsomphong Wanglap (TOEY), 22 Year old, I'm transgender. My hometown is Mekong river region Ubon Ratchathani but now I live in Rangsit Pathum thani.

Ubon Ratchathani has an interesting history.  We have been oppressed by the central state for hundreds of years. as a result, it is an area that lacks resources, money, and opportunities. causing people from my hometown to finding work in Bangkok.
When I was kid, My father is a building contractors and My mother is a care work. I grew up on a construction site and after graduating from high school I went to help my father work.

Construction is very hard work, be exposed to the sun. must be healthy and strong as opposed to me who was sick since I was a child. I am good just at painting.

Once I was 18 year old, I learned about a history of Thailand and political economy theory, consequently I got to know socialism, unions and labor movement.

In 2021, I became a member of the Worker' Union and content creator volunteer. And in the middle of last year, I actually had the opportunity to work as an organizer.  Workers' Union has a project for me to organizing a workers factory in the BWI Sector. and is a labor law counselor.
Now I'm labour activist or organizer full time. I'm so happy doing it. I like talking to workers, exchange work experience, raising awareness of working class.
I would like to see labour solidarity for fight back the bourgeoisie and general strike to build our democratic society.
