Welcome to the first edition of IYCW-ASPAC Primer “On Climate Justice and Social Protection”. The YCW aligns itself with the call to action by integrating climate justice and social protection into its work. The YCW recognizes the interconnectedness of these issues with the broader principles of love, justice and solidarity, and seeks to address the structural injustices that exacerbate the effects of climate change on the most vulnerable populations.

This Primer aims to provide basic information and a collection of action stories from our members in national movements across Asia and the Pacific. These stories provide insight into their struggles, dreams and the challenges they face. By understanding their experiences, we can find inspiration and solidarity in their fight against climate injustices, making their stories our own.
